CONCEPT
modern07 showed three special projects – Königskinder, »still life« and modern display.
»still life« was presented by the curators Filippo Tattoni-Marcozzi (gossmichael foundation, Dallas) and Nicole Stanner (Galerie f5,6, Munich). The project integrated a fascinating variation of vintage and contemporary works of renowned artists and young talents, such as Lillian Bassmann, David LaChapelle, Helen Levitt, Robert Mapplethorpe, Guido Mocafico, Andrew Moore, Irving Penn, Raghubir Singh, Larry Sultan, Thomas Wrede and others.
The project Königskinder took place in cooperation with the curator Dr. Stephanie Rosenthal. The artists Klaus Auderer, Heike Bollig, Bo Christian Larsson, Thomas Steffl & Jens Kabisch, Stehle and Daniel Wenk were
represented by the galleries Dina4 Projekte (Munich), Galerie Gebr. Lehmann (Dresden), Galerie Christine Mayer (Munich), Galerie Florian Walch (Munich), Galerie Michael Zink (Munich) and munichmodern (Munich).
The project modern display showed works of Philipp Köhler. For modern07 he created a maze based on minimalism.
